So, here are the POTENTIAL designs for a tee-shirt - very rough ideas. Click on the pictures to see in more detail what they will look like. If you WOULD BE interested in buying one, please leave a comment on here or e-mail me (cmt46 {at} cornell.edu) with one or more of the following:

• which design you like best,
• what changes you might like to see,
• maximum price you might pay.
  With the price, please keep in mind:
  • the MORE people that want shirts, the less expensive they will probably be
  • The more colors on the shirt, the more expensive the shirt (most likely, depending on the printer) so that the bottom designs will most likely be more expensive

In this design (below) the text, if you’re Chinese-illiterate says “I Love CSA.” So this shirt design is pretty much set - the only things we would be changing around would be colors - perhaps [black text, red heart, white shirt] or [white text & heart (with text outlined for readability) on a pale-red shirt]. If you’re interested in seeing these, say so and I’ll make/post them.

These designs are based off of the Moon Festival poster (Sept 22, 2007 @ WSH Memorial room). Potential changes that might be happening if people sort-of-like this shirt (or like as a more than the others) is perhaps a changing of the flower if guys wouldn’t want to buy it because it’s “too girly” and the text behind the moon (right now, we’re not sure what it says and if people like the design enough, I’ll probably get it to say the same thing as the seal (on the WoAiCSA design’s back) just vertical-ized.

Since people have been saying that they like the Moon Festival poster design, I’ve decided to make them into wallpapers too for your desktop! Of course, I can’t put all the information for the event on these because then they would just look tacky but there’s a little something at the top so that you can both decorate your desktop with a beautiful, serene background AND remind you of when the event’s approaching! I made them in several sizes so please select the one that best suits your monitor’s resolution!

I hope you like these!! I hope there will be ones for China Night (maybe Midnight Dim Sum) and other Big events - but if no one likes them, there’s no point in doing this, right? So PLEASE tell me if you think this is a good idea and if you use them!!

Thanks to everyone who came the the General Meeting earlier today! I hope you all had fun and enjoyed the pizza. We were actually thinking, at the beginning, that 5 pizzas was too many, but we had such a large turnout that it ended up being too little! So, apologies to those who didn’t get any pizza, but thanks for giving us such a large turnout to the event!

Don’t forget that there’s a Bowling event in Helen Newman later this week, on Friday the 7th from 7-9 PM!! It’s free for members and $5 for non-members so come on and have a lot of fun!
If you haven’t paid your dues yet, you can still do so at the Bowling Event so please remember to bring your money ($10 for new members, $8 for returning members) to Helen Newman on Friday!!!

Hey, Crystal, your CSA webmaster here. So - I’ve got a new layout up for the new year! It’s a new style for me so I took a lot of time fine-tuning it and such… I hope you all like it!

I’ll be uploading the new officer’s profiles/contact info/facebook links/etc. soon - I should have them up by the 20th. If not, I deserve to be smacked. Regarding the new officers, members may not know, but our Publicity chairs have decreased in number as we no longer have David Chu on our team. Additionally, Freshman wanting to be involved in CSA can run for Freshman Liaison positions on E-Board! More information about this soon!

I hope you all enjoy Cornell CSA 2007-2008! We’ll have lots of fun events this year including the annual China Night in April!! As for events that are coming up soon, we have the Welcome Picnic!! Thurs, 8/23: 4pm- 6pm @ Rawling Greens!!

Anyway, enjoy the new updates and check this site frequently for information regarding the club (otherwise I’ll have no reason to do all this work, right?)!! Also, as information changes I will try to get the updated info up as soon as possible, including information about new events or changes in location/time/etc. to other events!
