LISA ZHANG (lz234) — President AEM ’12

I’m an AEM major from New York City, so it’s likely you’ll see me walking full speed ahead on campus with a giant backpack. I love to laugh and make corny jokes (just a warning!), and I make references to Friends or The Office at all occasions or sing 90’s pop music whenever possible. Feel free to talk to me about anything and everything! I can’t wait to meet you all.

| The President holds weekly e-board meetings and implements the policies determined by the executive board during the meetings. She is in charge of delegating responsibilites to all the officers of CSA in addition to coordinating activites between CSA and other organizations, thus serving as the official representative of CSA in its external dealings. |

The Treasurer is responsible for keeping an accurate and updated account of finances, supervising the disbursement of the funds, paying bills
incurred by CSA, maintaining a balanced budget and handling other monetary needs.

| The Public Relations Chair acts as liaison between CSA and other organizations. Externally, she attends weekly CAPSU (Cornell Asian Pacific-Islander Students Union) meetings and is a representative of CSA in coordinating Asia Night. Internally, she organizes the Welcome Picnic and the Big-Little program. |

I was born in Shanghai and raised in both Ontario and New Jersey. I love music, fashion, and Broadway shows. Since freshman year, CSA has been a big part of my college experience, and I am so excited to be serving on eboard again this year!
